“You’re only given a little spark of madness. You mustn’t lose it.”

— Robin Williams —

I used to think the worst thing in life was to end up all alone; it’s not. The worst thing in life is to end up with people that make you feel alone.

Genie, I'm... I'm gonna miss you.

                                                 ... Me too, Al.

You will have bad times, but they will always wake you up to the stuff you weren’t paying attention to.
Years ago Robin Williams came to my hometown of Winnipeg in the province of Manitoba in Canada. He was there to film a movie.
The house they were filming in was in a working class neighbourhood, and crowds of people came to get a glimpse of him.
Each day the paper had stories of Robin Williams delighting these fans.
He would go talk to them, sign autographs and make them laugh. The children loved it. The adults loved it. Winnipeg loved it.
Those memories of his humour, kindness and generosity of spirit made a great impression on this city.
Now I’d like to go one step further and say thank you and we love you Robin Williams.
You will be missed.
